Who would have thought that after 4 weeks the following teams would have these records:
San Diego 1-3
New Orleans 0-3
Chicago 1-3
Cincinnati 1-3
And who would have thought that after 4 weeks, the following teams would have these records:
Green Bay 4-0
Detroit 3-1
The standings truly look like they’ve been turned upside down. Except for Indianapolis, New England, Dallas and Pittsburgh, none of the favorites coming into the season are performing well and are in danger of making it very difficult to make the playoffs. San Diego after a 14-2 season was considered a strong Super Bowl contender but now will find it extremely difficult to grab the wildcard.
The big Week 5 games are Chicago at home against Green Bay(the Genie is picking Green Bay), Pittsburgh at home against Seattle (the Genie likes Seattle to cover) and Denver at home to San Diego (only because if San Diego loses their season is toast).
In this week’s Team Rankings the top three teams are Indianapolis, New England (after running up 56 points) and Arizona (Arizona??????, we’re shocked too) , with Dallas in 4th. These rankings will really help you separate the good teams from the bad and ordinary teams, the true winners from the so-so teams that only show up to play sometimes, especially as the season goes on.
